FAQs

I work on a wide variety of creative projects, and every one is unique. The best way to find out exactly how I can help is to get in touch and tell me about your project. In the meantime, here are answers to some of the most common questions I’m asked:

How do I book a session?

Simply get in touch via the contact form or send me a DM. We’ll chat about what you’re looking for, choose a session type and find a date that works. I’ll guide you through everything from there.


When should I book?

I photograph one day a week, so availability is limited. I recommend getting in touch as early as possible, especially for weekends or specific dates.


Where are you based?

I’m based in Fareham, Hampshire. Sessions can take place locally, either outdoors or in your home. If you’re unsure about location options, I’m happy to suggest something that suits you.


Do you require a deposit?

Yes — a deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due before or on the day of your session. Full details are provided at the time of booking.


How do we receive our images?

You’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view, download and select your images. Galleries are easy to share with family or team members if needed.


Family Photography FAQs

What if my children don’t behave or sit still?

That’s completely okay — and very normal. My sessions are child-led and relaxed, with plenty of movement, play and interaction. Some of the best images come from those in-between moments.


What should we wear?

Neutral tones, soft textures and comfortable clothing always photograph beautifully. You’ll receive guidance before your session, and you’re welcome to send outfit photos if you’d like help choosing.


Can we choose the location?

Absolutely. Sessions can take place outdoors or at home. If you’d like suggestions, I’m always happy to recommend locations that suit the season and lighting.


Can grandparents or pets join the session?

Yes — as long as we plan ahead. Just let me know who will be joining so I can allow enough time and space during your session.


What if the weather is bad?

If the weather isn’t suitable for an outdoor session, we can reschedule or switch to an indoor session where possible.

Brand Photography FAQs

I’m awkward in front of the camera — is that a problem?

Not at all. Most people feel this way. I’ll guide you gently throughout the session, keeping things relaxed and natural so nothing feels forced or uncomfortable.


What can I use my branding photos for?

Branding images can be used across your website, social media, marketing materials, email newsletters and more. We’ll plan your session around how you intend to use your images.


Can product photography be included?

Yes. Product photography can be included as part of a branding session or booked on its own. We’ll plan this in advance to make sure it aligns with your brand style.


Do you help with planning outfits or styling?

Yes — I offer guidance before your session to help you choose outfits, colours and styling that feel aligned with your brand.


How many images will I receive?

Each package includes a set number of images, with the option to purchase additional images if you’d like more.
